I fell in love with yoga the first day I took a class after moving to KC in 2010. Over time, I began to realize yoga wasn’t solely a physical practice. The stress and anxiety from a hectic work life began to decrease as I learned how to carry the teachings of yoga and mindfulness into my everyday experiences. Each moment brings a new lesson in applying this healing work to life’s complexities, acknowledging there is always more to learn beyond the physical practice.
I have attended numerous trainings and workshops around the country. A teacher at heart, I began teaching yoga in May 2015. In February 2016, I completed my 200-hour RYS Yoga Teacher Training at the Maui Yoga Shala in Paia, Hawaii. It was an unforgettable experience filled with inspiration, wisdom, and practices that I continue to carry with me today.
In 2018, I began formally studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qigong, and Shiatsu bodywork at HeartMind Shiatsu School in Boulder, Colorado. I became certified in Shiatsu in November 2019 and continued my studies in massage and energy therapies through their sister school, Healing Spirits. I became a licensed massage therapist in the summer of 2021.
I have loved integrating this knowledge into my client work, helping people develop a deeper awareness of their bodies, energy pathways, and inner wisdom. Blending these modalities continues to open up new possibilities, as I explore the subtle layers of this work. It is my passion to help people come home to their innate wisdom and uncover the potential that already exists within. Through these practices, we can find our way back to harmony through self-love, mindfulness, and self-care.
I am truly grateful to share this work with others. I love witnessing the transformation that unfolds when people take time to reconnect with their bodies, quiet their minds, and cultivate a greater sense of presence and connection.
